A Cloudy Sunday Morning

Cloudy Sundy Morning. Olympus PEN E-PL3 with Panasonic Lumix 20mm F/1.7 Pancake Lens. Shot in Aperture Priority at 1/320, F/8, ISO 200

It was a cloudy Sunday morning. I’ve been up since 6am, it’s now 6:45 and still cannot decide if I’m going to go out to ride my bike or to run. I finally decided to go for a bike ride, I went to this lake nearby, it’s nice there in the morning. Fresh air, quite, a really nice place to run or bike around. I brought my PEN E-pl3 and panasonic 20mm pancake, just in case I see something interesting.

I’ve been to this place once, but we we’re driving then. This time, I was able to see and appreciate the beauty of the place.

This is one of the photos I shot with the Olympuw PEN E-PL3 and Panasonic Lumix 20mm F/1.7. There were no color at all, so I said to myself, this would be a great opportunity to create black and white photographs. I like black and white, photos because for me, when I take out the colors on my photos, I also take some of the destruction, making the photo more interesting and in a scene like this, I was able to give life to a dull colored photo when I converted it to black and white.
