Day 2 – Lucky Chinese Knot Tassle

Day 2 Lucky Chinese Knot Tassle. Olympus OM-D E-M5 and Lumix 25mm F/1.7. Shot at F/2, 1/200 and ISO 200

Day 2. Lucky Chinese Knot Tassle.

A Chinese knot is a knot that is tied and woven from a single length of cord or rope to be a variety of shapes and of varying complexity. Each shape has its own symbolic meaning, and nowadays you can find them as decoration, gifts for special occasions, and adornments on clothes.

Shot with my OM-D E-M5 by Olympus. This very reliable and dependable camera has been my all time favorite. Yes it’s old, having been release back in 2012, it’s 16mp four thirds sensor, together with it’s 5 axis image stabilization and with the right lens combination like the Lumix 25mm F/1.7, you cannot go wrong, it just delivers.

Sorry to barge in on you like this bu I just happen to come across your page/blog at

It just so happens I am very interested in infrared photography and have 2 x Sony Cybershot DSC-V1 cameras, which I use religiously for Stereo Photos and turn them into 3D Anaglyph pictures as a hobby only, and have seen infrared photography photo samples over about 10 years ago now.
One of the main reasons is I never managed to find the Accessories you have listed (copy below) to try my hand at taking infrared photos, thus the reason for this message.
One question I have for you is “Do happen to know where they are available at a very reasonable cost?”
I say, reasonable, because I’m a Senior on a very modest fixed income and would like to boost my hobby a bit more.

I would like to hear from you, and thank you in advance for your time.

    Hermann Meyer.

P.S. There is another problem concerning price, I live in Canada just north Washington State, and slight ly east of Vancouver British Columbia, Canada.
