Mandrill – My Favorite Shot at the 2013 Scott Kelby WorldWide PhotoWalk

Of all the photos I shot, this is my favorite. I’m just fascinated by this monkey.

Mandrills spend most of their time on the ground of the rainforest. When threatened, they go up into the trees. Primary predators are humans and leopards.

Humans and Leopards? Hmmm, he probably thought we were predators, that’s why he went up into the trees. There were several photographers all aiming their big cameras and white lenses at him.

Shot with the Canon EOS 7D 18 MP CMOS Digital SLR Camera with 3-Inch LCD (Body Only) and the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L USM Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras .

I will post more photos from the world wide photowalk in the next few days.
