Olympus PEN E-PL1 with Canon FD 50mm F/1.8 – The Old Meets New.

I got the Canon FD 50mm F/1.8 today, and here it is with the Olympus PEN E-PL1. The Old Meets New. I'm glad the lens is in perfect shape, no dust, no scratches. The aperture ring works great and the focus ring is really smooth and well damped. I'm also happy it works with the FD Lens Adapater to Micro 4/3 that I bought from Amazon .

Cosmetic and mechanical condition of the lens is excellent, not bad for an old lens and certainly not bad for $25.00. If you are looking for cheap fd lens, Adorama is a good place to look for one. I didn't have time to test it thoroughly yet, but when i did some test shots, I noticed that the images produce were on the warm side compare to EF Lenses, but this is normal with these kinds of lenses.
