Washington DC – I’m so glad I was able to cover the 2010 Memorial Day Parade. Huge crowd gather to DC every year to witness this event.

General Peter Pace – 16th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff and the first Marine to be appointed to the U.S. Military’s highest-ranking office.
Gary Sinise – Star of CSI: New York known for his role as Lt. Dan in Forrest Gump. Co-founder of Operation Iraqi Children, which helps Americans donate school supplies to Iraqi schools. His band, the Lt. Dan Band, has also played for American service members around the world.
Joe Mantegna – Tony Award-winning star of Glengarry Glen Ross and current lead in Criminal Minds on CBS. In 2004 was named Chairperson for the National Salute to Hospitalized Veterans by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
R. Lee Ermey – Retired Marine Corps drill instructor and Vietnam veteran known for his subsequent roles in dozens of films, including Full Metal Jacket and Toy Story. He is the host of Mail Call and Lock N Load with R. Lee Ermey on HISTORY (History Channel).
World-renowned tenor Anthony Kearns sung the Amazing Grace a cappella during the nationally-televised National Moment of Remembrance.
