The Bee in The Forest

Canon EOS 60D, Tamron SP AF 180mm F/3.5 Macro Lens, 1/640,F/10, ISO 500

I love the forest, I love to go on long walks into the woods, I don’t know, just being there refreshes me, it makes me happy. It makes me forget that busy stressful world I’m in. So if I feel I want to hit my reset button, I go into the forest.

The photo was shot with a Canon EOS 60D and a Tamron SP AF 180mm F/3.5 Macro Lens. I set it to auto bracketing and shot 3 frames. I then used Photomatix Pro 4 to merge all three exposures to come up with HDR Photo above. I was also using a Manfrotto 680B Monopod when I shot this. The monopod really helps me to minimize unnecessary motion and vibrations and with a 180mm lens on the 60d or my 7d, it can get really heavy especially if you carry them for long walks.
