Today’s photo is a close-up of a Fly also taken using a Canon EOS 60d and Tamron 28-75mm F/2.8 SP Lens with a Raynox DCR-250. The Raynox DCR-250 conversion lens enabled me to move in closer to the subject, the problem is, it took me while to get a few decent photo. Since I’m so close to the fly, it kept on hopping to the next flower. In that situation, patience is of the essence. It would have been nice to use a longer lens in the 180mm or even in the 150mm range. Longer focal length will make a difference when photographing insects and bugs alike, because of the greater working distance it provides.
