Build A Quick and Simple Portfolio With Albolio.Com
October 14, 2010
Albolio is a service design to help us create a quick and simple Photosite by using our flikr or Picasa photostreams as source. I found it while browsing the numerous apps in the flickr App Garden. The sample screenshot easily caught my eye and after reading the short feature list, I decided to try it out.
The feature I like best is how quickly it took me to create a photosite using my flickr photostream. In about 5 mins I have a running portfolio site. Yes I know, it say’s photosite in 30secs, but I was messing around with the settings and other stuff. Anyway my point is, if you need a quick and easy way to present your photos from flickr and picasa, this is by far the easiest and has nice looking themes, and best of all it’s free.
Features I like:
- Easy to Use.
- Simple Navigation.
- Excellent If you need a Quick Website for Presentation.
- No coding necessary on your part.
- It’s Free, It’s Free and It’s free.
What I Don’t Like:
- As of now they only have four themes available to choose from.
- I think it is better if the photos can be bigger.
Here are some sample screenshots from my sample Albolio Photosite:

That would be all for now. Once I get to learn more about it, i’ll do another post.
