Front and Rear Lens Caps for Raynox DCR-250

Three things I didn't like about the Raynox DCR-250, first, the plastic lens cap is really hard to remove, second, it doesn't have rear lens cover, and third because it doesn't have a rear lens cover, I have to put it on the plastic container below that it came with, It's ok but bulky.

The Raynox DCR-250 uses a 49mm filter size, I found a lens cap that fits nicely with it. The Maximal Power CA LENCAP49 Snap-On Cap for Lens – 49mm . It fits like they are made for each other.

Lens cap problem solved. But it's still bulky, good thing I have spare rear canon lens cap so I tried it on the dcr-250 and it fits nicely. See below, now it's easy to carry and even fits on my pocket.

Hi, thans for this information. One more question, is this the standard EF-S rear Canon lens cap? I don't see any thread in the back of Raynox lens adapter. Could it be screwed to Raynox lens adapter back? (sorry, I am a Nikon guy). Thanks in advance.

Hey, apologies for the late reply, haven’t been able to check the site lately. To answer your question, yes it is a standard canon lens cap. Just attach your raynox dcr250 like you would on the front of the lens.

Many thanks for this, just the information I was looking for! I managed to buy just the right items on eBay for small change and now I can do without the “lunchbox”.
