Raynox DCR-250 Macro Sample Photos

Yesterday I post a review of the Raynox DCR-250 and as promise, here are some close up of flowers I shot using the DCR-250 macro conversion lens.

I find the Raynox DCR-250 really easy to use and quite frankly it produces excellent results, I haven’t done any side by side comparision with it and my extension tube but I can tell that it can equally match the quality of photos the extension tube can produce.

I used to say that extension tubes are the way to go, this is true when I compared it with other close-up filters. But that all changed when I saw the results that the Raynox can produce. Extension tubes may have a slight edge on quality because it doesn’t have any glass in it that will cause image degradation, but I may need a microscope to prove that. Right now I just want to have fun making pictures.

Very nice review. I was going to get a Canon macro lens but for 1/10th the cost I got the Raynox. It’s all I need for the little macro I use.

    Kind regards,
