Big changes are coming to Fotomoto. Last night, I got an email from them informing current users about the changes that are going to be implemented soon. Starting October 10th, they will start to implement the 3 types of service or models as they call it, these are the:
- Free which doesn't have a monthy recurring subscription fee but, when you sell a photo, Fotomoto charges the member a 30% transaction fee and according to them, new users will only be limited to one site per account. If you have more than 1 gallery you are out of luck, you will have to upgrade to one of the other two models, PRO or PRO Plus.
- Pro model, has a monthly subscription fee of $10 and a 15% transaction fee for every sale.
- Pro Plus model, members has to pay a $20 monthly subscription fee and a 10% transaction fee.
The good news is, for current members like me, they will allow us to maintain our existing sites, regardless of the number of sites I currently have.
