Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens – Canon’s March 2010 Lens of The Month.
The Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens is an outstanding all-around zoom lens, and for many shooters the perfect standard lens. With full-frame cameras, it covers the range of ultra-wide to true portrait-length telephoto, in a fairly compact package that includes Image Stabilization. It’s constant f/4 maximum aperture allows good light-gathering, even in low-light conditions, and the three-stop (approximately) shake correction of the stabilization means that shots at 105mm can often be taken at shutter speeds as slow as 1/15th of a second, handheld, woth good sharp results.(usa.canon.com)

Congratulations Ben! I’m sure you’ll like it, but may be disappointed if you get used to the sharpness 70-200/4L IS gives….

Thank you! Well, I haven’t tried it too much in daylight yet, since I’ve been busy with school and work, but I am sure i will be very satisfied with it! Is the quality that the 70-200 gives much better would you say??

Yuppers. at least it’s the case for me. My EF70-200/4L IS can almost match up with the sharpness of my EF100/2.8 Macro
