Great News to macro enthusiast! For those interested, I’m selling my less than three month old Canon EF 100mm F/2.8 Macro USM Lens for $440 including shipping. This lens is Like New and still under warranty from CANON USA. I bought it from Amazon last Feb. 23, 2010 and have only taken a few photos with.
It is a very versatile lens, you can use for a lot of other applications, not just macro. You can use is as a portrait lens, a short telephoto for sports, and some landscape shots. It is very sharp. I’m only selling it because I don’t do a lot of macro and I have a EF 50mm and EF 85mm for portraits. So if you are heavy on macro photography this is the lens for you.

Hazed: Haha, the drool-factor on this lens is absolutely bigger than on the nifty fifty. I love the quiet zoom as well as the razor sharp images you get (when properly focused).
It’s quite nice as a medium tele also, although it’s difficult to frame shots for candid portraits when you have no zoom and have to run to and fro to get the right crop.
