Hendaya. Photo By Alan Schaeffer
January 22, 2011
I took this shot on Hendaya, french city near Spain around Basque Country famous for been the meeting point between Hitler and Franco on World War 2.
I took it on december 26, a frozen sunday perfect for go for a walk along the beach, the sky was wonderful with beautiful clouds, I tryed to find a piece of sand full of footprints, then I wait until the sun was near the horizon and nobody was walking near. I configured my camera braketting settings on 1/20, 1/40, 1/80 to obtain a HDR image.
At home I merged the three images with photomatix, then I tryed to obtain a nice colour on photoshop but I wasn’t really sure about what I got and finally decided to process it with a degradation map..
